Good Practice Against Discrimination Competition
As part of the project Voice for All (VS/2007/0477), which is supported by the European Community for Employment and Social Solidarity (PROGRESS 2007 – 2013), NCPE (National Commission for the Promotion of Equality) has opened a competition on good practices Against Discrimination which is targeting educational institutions, public and private sectors organizations, the media, NGO’s and civil society. A good practice is any initiative taken to eliminate any form of discrimination on the ground of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, age and multiple discrimination from occurring or re-occurring.
The aim of this competition is to promote corporate and social responsibility by highlighting all initiatives taken with the aim of increasing equal opportunities, creating a more inclusive environment, promoting diversity and enhancing dialogue in order to improve the quality of life on an individual, societal and national level. Good practices shall be recorded and incorporated into a research study on good practices between Malta, Italy, Cyprus and Northern Ireland.
Interested parties are required to download the registration form and good practice template and send it by email to equality@gov.mt or by fax to 25903851 or by hand to NCPE, Gattard House, National Road, HMR 9010 by Monday 24th November 2008.
