Objectives
The objectives of the project AGEnder is to increase the employment rate of senior people, particularly women, by promoting good practices in the area of gender equality and age management in Europe .
The partners involved in the project of AGEnder include:
The underlying problem of the trans-national partners is concern as to the prevention of all forms of discrimination in Europe and more specifically man/woman equality and the issue of age management. Simultaneously, the European Union also aims at the promotion policies that prevent discrimination, whether based on age or sex.
As part of this trans-national partnership the transnational activites include:
• Setting up of co-ordination meetings, transnational seminars and study visits • Creation of communication tools including the creation of a logo and visual identity, a bulletin and a web page dedicated to the transnational project. • Completion of a study “Searching for good practices in the area of gender and age management”.
As part of the trans-national study the areas of study identified for Malta include:

Inactive women over 40 in Malta ;

Women in the tourism sector;
-
Policies and actions against discrimination.
The results of each national project will be transferred between trans-national partners.
